Ashes Tour 1965/66

The Ashes Tour 1965/66 was the tour of the England national cricket team , which included the 43rd edition of the Ashes , and was carried out between December 10, 1965 and February 16, 1966. The Ashes Series 1965/66 itself was played in the form of five test matches between Australia and England. The venues were always Australian stadiums. In addition to the test series, the tour included a number of other games between the two teams in the winter of 1965/66 . The test series ended 1-1 in a draw and Australia kept the Ashes as the winners of the previous Ashes tour.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 1964 season .
