The tour of the New Zealand national cricket team to Australia in the 1973/74 season took place from December 29, 1973 to January 31, 1974. The international cricket tour was part of the 1973/74 international cricket season and included three tests . Australia won the Test Series 2–0.

It was the first tour of the season for both teams. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1945/46 season in New Zealand .
