The West Indies cricket team's tour to Australia in the 2000/01 season took place from November 7, 2000 to January 2, 2001. The international cricket tour was part of the 2000/01 international cricket season and included five test matches . Australia won the test series 5-0.
prehistory
Both teams previously played at the ICC KnockOut 2000 , with Australia eliminated in the quarterfinals and the West Indies in qualifying. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1998/99 season in the West Indies .
