The West Indies cricket teams tour to Australia in the 1984/85 season took place from November 9, 1984 to January 2, 1985. The international cricket tour was part of the 1984/85 international cricket season and comprised five tests . The West Indies won the series 3–1.

prehistory

Australia previously played a tour in India , for the West Indies it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1983/84 season in the West Indies .
