The New Zealand national cricket team's tour to England in the 1986 season took place from July 16 to August 26, 1986. The international cricket tour was part of the 1986 international cricket season and included three tests and two ODIs . New Zealand won the Test Series 1–0, while the ODI Series 1–1 ended in a draw.

England previously played a tour against India , for New Zealand it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 1983/84 season in New Zealand .
