The tour of England's national cricket team to the West Indies in the 1989/90 season took place from February 24 to April 16, 1990. The international cricket tour was part of the 1989/90 international cricket season and included four tests and five ODIs . The West Indies won Test Series 2–1 and ODI Series 3–0.

prehistory

The West Indies previously competed in a three-nation tournament in the United Arab Emirates , for England it was the first tour of the season. The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in England in the 1988 season .
