Scotland Tri-Nation Series 2019
The Scotland Tri-Nation Series 2019 was a three-nation tournament that was played in one-day cricket in Scotland from 14 to 21 August 2019 . In addition to the host, teams from Oman and Papua New Guinea took part in the tournament, which is part of the 2019 international cricket season . It was the first tournament as part of the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 2019-2022 , which formed a qualification path to the 2023 Cricket World Cup via the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2022 . Scotland won the competition with a better net run rate than Oman.
prehistory
Scotland played two home tours against Afghanistan and Sri Lanka before the tournament , and it is the first tour of the season for Oman and Papua New Guinea.

In a preliminary round, each team played twice against each other. There were two points for a win and one point for a draw or no result.
