Afghan national cricket team in Ireland for the 2018 season

The Afghan national cricket team's tour to Ireland for the 2018 season took place from August 20 to 31, 2018. The international cricket tour was part of the 2018 international cricket season and included three ODIs and three Twenty20s . Afghanistan won the Twenty20 series 2−0 and the ODI series 2−1.

prehistory

Ireland previously played a tour against India , Afghanistan a test in India . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2017/18 season in the United Arab Emirates .
