Morocco Cup 2002
The 2002 Marocco Cup was a three-nation tournament that was held from August 12 to 21, 2002 in Morocco in one-day cricket . In which the international cricket season in 2002 belonging tournament took teams from Pakistan , Sri Lanka and South Africa participate. In the final, Sri Lanka was able to prevail against South Africa with 27 runs.
prehistory
Pakistan previously played a tour in Australia , Sri Lanka a tour against Bangladesh . For South Africa it was the first competition of the season.
format
In a preliminary round, each team played twice against each other. There were four points for a win, two points for a draw or no result. Bonus points were also awarded. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
