The tour of the Indian national cricket team to South Africa in the 2013/14 season took place from December 5 to 30, 2013. The international cricket tour was part of the 2013/14 international cricket season and included two tests and three ODIs . South Africa won the Test series with 1–0, and the ODI series 2–0. The tests were part of the ICC Test Championship and the ODIs were part of the ICC ODI Championship .

prehistory

classification

South Africa previously competed against Pakistan , India in the West Indies . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in the 2011/12 season in South Africa .

Heading

Originally the South African association CSA announced a more extensive tour over 3 tests, 7 ODIs and 2 Twenty20s. However, the Indian association BCCI appealed and so it came to renegotiations about the appointments.
