ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2014

The ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2014 was the qualifying tournament for the Cricket World Cup 2015 , which will be held from February 14th to March 29th, 2015 in Australia and New Zealand . It was also the tenth qualifying tournament for a cricket world championship. The qualifier took place in New Zealand from January 13th to February 1st, 2014. In the final, Scotland was able to prevail against the United Arab Emirates , both of whom had secured qualification by making it into the final. In addition to these two teams, Ireland and Afghanistan had previously metQualified first and second in the World Cricket League Championship for the final tournament.

A total of 10 teams took part in the tournament. Four of them qualified as participants in the World Cricket League Championship:

Preliminary round

The preliminary round was held in two groups of five teams each, with the first three of each group qualifying for the Super Six.
