ICC Trophy 2005
The ICC Trophy 2005 was the qualifying tournament of the non-test nations for the Cricket World Cup 2007 . The tournament was played in Ireland between July 1st and 13th, 2005. The winner was Scotland , who beat hosts Ireland in the final with 47 runs. Furthermore, qualified Canada , Bermuda and the Netherlands for the World Cup. The five qualified people also received ODI status for the years 2006 to 2009.

A total of 12 associate and affiliate members of the ICC took part in the tournament:
format
First, two preliminary round groups of six teams were formed, in which everyone competed against each other. The group first and second of the two groups qualified for the semi-finals and were qualified for the 2007 Cricket World Cup. The third and fourth group played for fifth to eighth place and the fifth and last group for ninth to twelfth place. All placements were played out.
