The Indian national cricket team's tour to Sri Lanka in the 2012 season took place from July 21 to August 7, 2012. The international cricket tour was part of the 2012 international cricket season and included five ODIs and one Twenty20 . India won the ODI series 4–1 and the Twenty20 series 1–0.
prehistory
Sri Lanka previously played a tour against Pakistan , for India it was the first tour of the season. The last tour of the two teams against each other took place in the 2010 season in Sri Lanka .
