The Grenada National Stadium , also known as Kirani James Athletic Stadium , is a sports stadium in St. George’s , Grenada . There is a stadium for football and athletics as well as a cricket ground in the entire complex . The entire complex was built with the help of China .
Police Ground
The Police Ground is mainly used for soccer games. The stadium can seat 10,000 spectators.
Nationals Cricket Stadium
The National Cricket Stadium , formerly Queen's Park , is the cricket ground. The West Indies and Australia played the opening game on April 14, 1999 as One-Day International . In 2002 the West Indies and New Zealand met there for a first test match ; it was the 84th stadium for test cricket. In 2004, hurricane "Ivan" devastated 80 percent of the Grenadian infrastructure. The stadium was restored for the 2007 Cricket World Cup .
