Standard Bank Triangular Tournament 1999/2000

The Standard Bank Triangular Tournament 1999/2000 was a three-nation tournament that was played from January 21 to February 13, 2000 in South Africa in one-day cricket . In the tournament, which was part of the 1999/2000 international cricket season, teams from England and Zimbabwe took part alongside the host . In the final, South Africa prevailed against England with 38 runs.

South Africa and England previously contested a test series in South Africa , Zimbabwe a tour against Sri Lanka .

format

In a preliminary round, each team played against each three times. There were two points for a win and one point for a draw or no result. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
