Run he achieved in his 120th test. This was played against South Africa in March 2008 in Chennai . For the Indian team, Dravid took part in three cricket world championships ( 1999 , 2003 and 2007 ). At the 1999 World Cup he was the top scorer of the tournament with 461 runs. In 1999 he managed to set the world record for an ODI partnership twice. The first time in May at the 1999 World Cup against Sri Lanka , when he scored 318 runs with Saurav Ganguly and the second time in November on the New Zealand Tour , when he and Sachin Tendulkar got 331 runs.
