The tour of the Pakistani national cricket team against the West Indies in the 1999 season (also DCM Trophy 1999 for sponsorship reasons ) took place from September 16 to 19, 1999 in Canada . The international cricket tour was part of the 1999 international cricket season and included three ODIs . Pakistan won the series 3–0.
prehistory
The West Indies previously played a tour against India in the same place , Pakistan at the Cricket World Cup 1999 , in which they failed only in the final. It was originally planned that Pakistan against India would play this tour in Canada against each other as in previous years. As a result of the Kargil War , however, the West Indies were called in at short notice, which held a tour against both teams.
