In the middle of the 20th century, Brøndby Nord was built with multi-storey houses, some of which have large paintings on the gable walls. Brøndby Strand was added later. The church in Brøndby Strand, built in 1984, has a carillon and there are many carillon concerts every year.
The town hall was built in 1959 and was later expanded several times.
