Søllerød Kommune was until December 2006 a Danish municipality in what was then Københavns Office in the northeast of the main island of Zealand . Since January 2007 it has been part of the newly formed Rudersdal municipality together with the former municipality of Birkerød . Søllerød Kommune was in the northern suburbs of Copenhagen and included the places Holte (seat of the administration), Øverød , Gammel Holte , Nærum , Trørød , Vedbæk and Skodsborg .
