Australian national cricket team in New Zealand in 2004/05
The Australian national cricket team's tour to New Zealand in the 2004/05 season took place from February 17 to March 29, 2005. The international cricket tour was part of the 2004/05 international cricket season and included three tests , five ODIs and one Twenty20 . Australia won the Test Series 2-0 and the ODI Series 5-0 and the Twenty20 Series 1-0.
prehistory
New Zealand previously played a tour against Sri Lanka , Australia a three-nation tournament in Australia . The last meeting of the two teams on a tour took place in Australia in the same season . Originally the fourth ODI was planned in Hamilton , but due to poor space it was relocated to Wellington. The Twenty20 played was the first ever Twenty20 International.
