Indian Premier League 2009
The Indian Premier League 2009 was the second season of the Twenty20 format competition for Indian cricket teams and took place between April 18 and May 24, 2009. Due to the parliamentary election in India , the tournament was moved to South Africa . The winners were the Deccan Chargers , who were able to prevail in the final in Johannesburg with 6 runs against the Royal Challengers Bangalore .
