Indian Premier League 2020
The Indian Premier League 2020 (officially: VIVO Indian Premier League 2020) is the thirteenth season of the twenty20 format competition for Indian cricket teams and is originally planned for the period between March 29 and May 24, 2020. Initially, due to the global COVID-19 pandemic , the tournament was postponed indefinitely and on August 2 it was announced that it would be held in the United Arab Emirates from September 19 to November 10, 2020 .

The eight franchises play in a group twice against each other team. They receive two points for every win and one point for every draw or no result . The four first placed in the group qualify for the playoffs that were played in the page playoff system .
