The ' Sunrisers Hyderabad' (often just Sunrisers or SRH ) are an Indian cricket team that has played in the Indian Premier League since the 2013 season. The Sunrisers represent the city of Hyderabad in the IPL. The foundation took place in 2012, because the Deccan Chargers could no longer participate in the IPL due to financial problems. Many of the old team's players have been taken over by the Hyderabad franchise. SunTV-Network secured the rights to the franchise for ₹ 850.5 million (approx. 15 million euros). The home stadium is the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium with 55,000 seats in Hyderabad.
