Indian Premier League 2014

The Indian Premier League 2014 was the seventh season of the Twenty20 format competition for Indian cricket teams and took place between April 16 and June 1, 2014. After the Pune Warriors franchise was withdrawn, eight teams participated in this edition of the IPL. Due to the parliamentary elections in India , the first section of the tournament was held in the United Arab Emirates . In the final, the Kolkata Knight Riders prevailed against the Kings XI Punjab with 3 wickets.
