The Chennai Super Kings (often abbreviated to CSK ) are an Indian cricket team that represents Chennai in the Indian Premier League . The home stadium is the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. The team won the Indian Premier League in the 2010, 2011 and 2018 seasons. In 2010 and 2014, the Super Kings won the Champions League Twenty20 . Due to a betting scandal in 2015, the team, along with the Rajasthan Royals , was suspended from the IPL for two years. The Rising Pune Supergiants replaced the Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
