The Delhi Daredevils (abbreviated: DD or ' Double Ds' ), since December 2018 Delhi Capitals , is an Indian cricket franchise and represents the city of Delhi in the Indian Premier League . The team was formed in 2008 with the formation of the Indian Premier League. GMR-Group acquired the rights to the franchise for $ 84 million. The home stadium is officially the Feroz Shah Kotla Ground Stadium in Delhi. The franchise has so far failed to win the Indian Premier League.
