ICC Intercontinental Cup 2009-2010
The ICC Intercontinental Cup 2009-10 is the fifth edition of the ICC Intercontinental Cup, the international first-class cricket competition for national teams that do not have test match status .

The Games will take place between July 2009 and October 2010, with the expected final in the United Arab Emirates on April 25-29. November 2010. The six best placed teams of the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifier 2009 qualified for the tournament . Furthermore, the team from Zimbabwe takes part under the name "Zimbabwe XI", since its test match status has been suspended since January 2006. The seventh to tenth placed teams in the World Cup Qualifier will be holding the "ICC Intercontinental Shield" for the first time. These games also have first-class status.

On September 29, 2010 it was announced that Zimbabwe would not play its last game against Scotland. As a result, Scotland was awarded the victory and was able to compete in the final against Afghanistan.
