Godrej Singapore Challenge 2000
The Godrej Singapore Challenge 2000 was a three-nation tournament that was held from August 20th to 27th, 2000 in Singapore in one-day cricket . In which the international cricket season in 2000 belonging tournament took teams from New Zealand , Pakistan and South Africa participate. In the final South Africa beat Pakistan with 93 runs ( D / L ).
prehistory
Pakistan previously played a three-nation tournament in Sri Lanka and South Africa in Australia . For New Zealand it was the first tour of the season.
format
In a preliminary round, each team played against each other once. There were two points for a win and 1 point for a draw or no result. The first two of the group qualified for the final and played for the tournament victory.
