The Holkar Stadium is a cricket stadium in Indore , India . It replaced the Nehru Stadium as the home of international cricket games.
Capacity & Infrastructure
The stadium has a capacity of 30,000 and is equipped with floodlights. The two wicket ends are the Pavilion End and the GAIL-Madhav Rao Scindia End .
International cricket
The first One-Day International at Iqbal Stadium was held in April 2006 between India and England . Since then it has been the venue for several international matches. The first test match at this stadium took place between India and New Zealand in October 2016 .
National cricket
The stadium is the home of Madhya Pradesh in Indian national cricket.
