The Jinnah Stadium is a cricket stadium in Sialkot , Pakistan .
Capacity & Infrastructure
The stadium has a capacity of 18,000 seats. The two wicket ends are the Pavilion End and the Railway End .
International cricket
The first One-Day International was held here in October 1976 between Pakistan and New Zealand . Since then it has been the venue for numerous international encounters. The first test match at this stadium took place in October 1978 between Pakistan and India . No international games have been held here since 1996. The attempt to consider the stadium again in 2007 failed because a pavilion was judged to be too dangerous for the spectators.
National cricket
The stadium is the home of Sialkot in national Pakistani cricket.
