The Jharkhand States Cricket Association International Cricket Stadium , also known as the JSCA International Stadium Complex , is a cricket stadium in Ranchi , India .

Capacity & Infrastructure

The stadium has a capacity of 50,000 and is equipped with floodlights. The two ends of the wicket are the MS Dhoni Pavilion and the Amitabh Choudhary Pavilion .

International cricket

The first One-Day International was held here in January 2013 between India and England . Since then it has been the venue for several international matches. The first test match at this stadium took place between India and Australia in October 1978 .

National cricket

The stadium is the home of Jharkhand in Indian national cricket. When it was built, it replaced the Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur, which had been primarily used up until then .
