1997 Grammy Awards

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Grammy Awards were presented on February 26, 1997 for the 39th time. In the past year of music, two artists celebrated “resurrection”. From a demo of John Lennon , who died in 1980 , his former colleagues created a new Beatles single: Free as a Bird . And Nat King Cole , who died in 1965, came up with a duet with his daughter Natalie using modern mixed media : When I Fall In Love . Both Grammy-worthy achievements.

The most important music award in the USA was awarded in 90 categories in 26 fields, and there were eight honorary Grammys for life's work.
