General

This year there are 83 categories in 30 fields, a new addition is an award for the best performance in the American Roots category in addition to the song category. The gospel area was redesigned . Performance and song were combined, but separated into gospel and Christian pop music. An album category for original gospel music (Roots-Gospel) was introduced for the category that was omitted.
