Meghan Trainor also recorded self-produced albums at an early age, but it wasn't until the song All About That Bass that she got her own record deal in 2014. She had originally written the song with Kevin Kadish for other artists, but when label boss LA Reid heard her version, he signed it to Epic Records . The 50s doo-wop- style song is about the virtues of plump women. The music video, in which, among other things, a heavy man performs dance moves, became an Internet success and reached over 1.5 million views on YouTube in one month in the middle of the year . The single first reached number one in the charts in Australia and New Zealand and then also topped the download charts in the United States. A few weeks later, the song also reached number one on the Hot 100 . After the song was released in Europe in August, it reached number 1 in the charts in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Great Britain, among others. The international YouTube hits rose to over 840 million by the end of May 2015. In October, Trainor released their second single, Lips Are Movin . The song reached number 2 in the British charts and number 4 in the US charts. At the 2015 Echo Awards, Meghan Trainor was one of the international show acts. The third single Dear Future Husband was released on March 17, 2015 and was awarded double platinum in the USA. The fourth and final single from her first album Title is Like I'm Gonna Lose You , which she sang with John Legend . The single was released on June 23, 2015 and, like its predecessor, was awarded double platinum in the USA. The tour covered 36 concerts in North America, Asia, Oceania and Europe, including three in Germany, namely in Hanover, Hamburg and Cologne. The tour ended on June 6th of the same year with a concert in London and was part of the Summertime Ball there .

On March 4, 2016, NO , the first single produced by Ricky Reed from their album Thank You , was released. The songs Watch Me Do , I Love Me (featuring Lunchmoney Lewis ), Better (featuring Yo Gotti ) and Mom followed as promotional singles . The second single Me Too was released on May 6, 2016 . The album was released worldwide as CD and download on May 13th and was placed 25th in Germany. At the Billboard Music Awards 2016 she presented her single NO live and was nominated in three categories. She released the single Marvin Gaye with Charlie Puth .
