List of number one hits in the UK charts (2015)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

This is a list of the number one hits on the UK charts for 2015. It is based on the Official Singles Chart Top 100 and Albums Chart Top 100 as determined by the Official Charts Company .

The UK charts are published immediately after the sales week ends and are valid for the week following the sales week. The issue date is the last day of the week, i.e. the Saturday one week after the end of the sales week. Until the beginning of July, sales counted from Monday to Sunday, then Global Release Day was introduced on July 10th . There were new releases worldwide on Friday and the UK charts were shifted by three days. The chart week starting on July 5th has therefore been shortened to four days.
