Benny Blanco (* 8. March 1988 in Reston as Benjamin Levin ) is an American music producer and songwriter .
Career
He moved to Manhattan to pursue his career aspiration as a producer. He received his first attention after working with the band Spank Rock . With them he released the album Bangers & Cash in 2007 . With the help of Lukasz Gottwald , who became aware of Blanco through the publication, he then turned to pop music.
He has produced songs for several internationally known artists, such as I Kissed a Girl and Hot N Cold for Katy Perry . For the album Circus by Britney Spears Blanco worked as a co-producer and songwriter.
For the band 3OH! 3 he produced the single Don't Trust Me , which helped the group to break through. Blanco also works with English singer Neon Hitch and wrote song lyrics for Mike Posner , such as Cheated .
