Life

Marco Masís grew up in the Puerto Rican capital, San Juan. His musical career began quite early. As a teenager, he programmed reggaeton beats using fruity loops . At the age of 15 he met the producer Nely (Josias de la Cruz), to whom he gave a demo recording , which he passed on to the producer duo Luny Tunes . Impressed by the works, the two signed the young artist. Masís took on the pseudonym "Tainy" and began to take on various smaller jobs for the two of them after school.

Little by little he got to know artists like Ivy Queen , Don Omar , Tego Calderón , Nicky Jam and Zion y Lennox . His breakthrough came in 2006 with the co-production Pam Pam for the duo Wisin & Yandel , with whom he worked regularly. In 2009 the duo received a Latin Grammy for the song Abusadora programmed by Tainy . His first major work was the coproduction of the Luney Tune compilation Mas Flow: Los Benjamins (2006), for which he can also be seen on the cover and for which he produced 15 tracks.

As a producer he worked alongside reggaeton acts like Arcángel for artists as diverse as Janet Jackson , Jennifer Lopez , Paris Hilton and J Balvin . For a number of years he has also produced Trap , among others for Cardi B and Bad Bunny .

During his career he has received three BMI Awards : For Wisin & Yandels Abusadora and Pam Pam and Ivy Queens La Vida Es Así.

His international breakthrough came with I Can't Get Enough , a song with Selena Gomez , Benny Blanco and J Balvin.
