Joanna Kil (born July 9, 2000 ) is a Polish Nordic combined skier and ski jumper .

Career

Kil, who starts for AZS Zakopane , made her international debut in ski jumping on September 27, 2014 as part of the FIS Cup in Râșnov . At her first start in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup she finished seventh in Notodden , which she could not confirm in the following competitions.

Kil took part in the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2018 in Kandersteg . She jumped from the normal hill to 25th place in the individual competition. In addition, she competed in team jumping and mixed team competitions, where she and her teammates achieved ninth and eighth place respectively.

In January 2019 Kil made his debut in Schonach in the Nordic Combined Alpine Cup . After two placements in the top 15, she also competed in the combination at the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2019 in Lahti, Finland , and ranked 27th in the first official junior women competition. In the special jumping she jumped to 48th place and to eighth place in the team competition together with Anna Twardosz , Kinga Rajda and Kamila Karpiel . Three weeks later Kil made her debut in the Continental Cup of Nordic Combined , in which she finished 16 and 19 in Rena . At the Polish Ski Jumping Championships in March Kil won her first national medal when she was third behind Joanna Szwab and Twardosz in the absence of the two best Polish jumpers Rajda and Karpiel .
