Kamila Karpiel (born November 22, 2001 ) is a Polish ski jumper .

Career

Kamila Karpiel starts for the AZS Zakopane . She took part in an FIS race for the first time on September 25 and 26, 2014 in Râşnov and made her debut a few days later at the same location in the FIS Cup , where she finished tenth and eleventh. Then she started in other competitions in the FIS Cup.

On August 26th and 27th, 2016 Karpiel made his debut in the Continental Cup in two competitions in Oberwiesenthal . Here she reached places 38 and 35. A year later, Karpiel achieved a victory and a second place in her only third and fourth participation in a competition of the Continental Cup on August 18 and 19, 2017 in Oberwiesenthal. After a third place in the penultimate competition in Lillehammer , Karpiel won the overall ranking of the Summer Continental Cup with 280 points. At the 2018 Junior World Championships in Kandersteg , Switzerland , she was 47th in the individual and finished ninth in the women's team competition with the Polish team.

On December 2, 2018, she made her debut in the World Cup in Lillehammer, Norway , but could not score any points in 40th place. She achieved this for the first time at her third World Cup competition on February 8, 2019, when she finished 30th on the Logarska dolina in Ljubno, Slovenia . At the 2019 Junior World Championships in Lahti, Finland, she finished eighth with the Polish teams in the junior team competition and nine in the mixed team competition. In the individual competition she was 17th.

At the Nordic World Ski Championships 2019 in Seefeld , Karpiel took 23rd place on the normal hill after jumps on 97.5 and 93.5 meters. Together with Kinga Rajda , Dawid Kubacki and Kamil Stoch , she was part of the first Polish mixed team at a world championship, which also took sixth place.
