Joanna Szwab (born February 17, 1997 in Chochołów ) is a Polish ski jumper .

Career

In February 2011 Szwab made her international debut at a Continental Cup in Zakopane . After she was disqualified in the first competition, she finished 41st in the second competition.

For the 2013/14 season , with Joanna Szwab and Magdalena Pałasz, female ski jumpers from Poland competed in the World Cup for the first time . In the mixed team competition, the two took last place together with Maciej Kot and Kamil Stoch .

At a Continental Cup competition in Falun , Szwab was second for the first time in her career on the podium, but in the following World Cup competitions she remained without points.

In March 2019, Szwab won the Polish championship title from Mała Krokiew in Zakopane ahead of Anna Twardosz . She benefited from the cancellation of the two best Polish women, Kamila Karpiel and Kinga Rajda , who instead competed in Raw Air 2019 .
