Zion & Lennox with J Álvarez

Zion y Lennox is a reggaetón duo from Puerto Rico . It consists of the musicians Félix Órtiz (Zion) and Gabriel Pizarro (Lennox).

Career

After Órtiz and Pizarro met for the first time in 1998 and recognized mutual musical interests, they formed the duo Zion y Lennox in 2002. She comes from the Puerto Rican capital Carolina .

With ¿Que vas a hacer? her debut single was released in 2003. The most successful album so far was Motivando a la yal .

In 2006, the duo split and went their separate ways from now on. On the compilation Los RompeDiscotecas by Jay-Z and Héctor 'El Father' a duet between Zion and the newcomer “ De La Ghetto ” could be heard. Even before this album he sang the piece Alocate for the mixtape Luny Tunes pres. Go Benjamin . Lennox released his first mixtape , Los Mero Meros , in August 2006 , to which Zion also contributed a song.

In 2008 the musicians reunited and released the album Pasado, Presente y Futuro brought to the market, including the song Boom Bomm on this album. One of their first concerts as a duo after reunification took place as part of the Reggaeton Rotation Party in Frankfurt.

In 2016 they recorded the song Súbeme La Radio with Enrique Iglesias and Descemer Bueno, which became a worldwide success in 2017 with the growing popularity of the Latin pop style.
