ChocQuibTown is from Colombia native music group whose style a kind of mix of hip hop , reggae , funk and some Colombian rhythms such as collars, Cumbia and Currulao. Their short career includes numerous awards and national as well as international recognition and they participated with their music in TV commercials, campaigns etc.
Reports of the arrest of its singer Carlos "Tostao" Valencia were found to be false. A Colombian singer of the same name was arrested by the Colombian police in May 2011 for multiple murders.
