Wolfgang I. Count of Oettingen (born May 16, 1455 - † January 29, 1522 in Harburg ) was Count of Oettingen .

Wolfgang was the third son of Count Wilhelm von Öttingen († 1467) and his wife Beatrix della Scala . He became Count of Oettingen after the death of his brother Johann II. Von Oettingen, who died in 1519 without a male heir. His brother Friedrich became Bishop of Passau in 1485 . In 1482 Wolfgang I married Anna von Waldburg-Waldsee († March 20, 1507). They had two sons Karl and Ludwig. He was involved in the Swabian Federation .
