Neon Hitch (born May 25, 1986 in Nottingham ) is a British singer and songwriter.

biography

Neon Hitch grew up in a circus family and worked as a trapeze artist and juggler during her childhood. At 15 she moved from home and after a while settled in London to build a music career. She was signed to Mike Skinner's The Beats label until 2007 before it was disbanded. She was later hired by EMI .

She had her first success in 2010: She was a singer and co-author of the song Follow Me Down by 3OH! 3 , which also appeared on the CD Almost Alice for the film Alice in Wonderland and was able to place itself in the US charts . She is also named as a co-author of Kesha's Blah Blah Blah , which was an international hit. The following year, she worked with the Gym Class Heroes on their hit Ass Back Home , which was a number one hit in Australia and a top ten hit in the UK, among other things .

In May, in anticipation of their debut album, they released their first own single, Fuck U Betta , which reached number one among the US dance club songs and was also placed in the Swedish charts.

Her song "Sparks" became the official theme song for Big Brother season 12 in 2015 .
