Sleazy was released as a promotional single for Cannibal on October 29, 2010 .
Music critics received the song positively, describing it as a strong club song, with influences from Jennifer Lopez , Gwen Stefani and Lil Wayne . To date, Sleazy ranked 46th and 51st in Canada and the United States .

Vocally, Kesha follows her predecessor Singles, where she also uses her singing rap style. Kesha used auto-tune effects for her singing . Musically and in terms of content , the song is very similar to Gwen Stefani's Hollaback Girl “swagga”, Jennifer Lopez 's Love Don't Cost a Thing “attitude” and Lil Wayne's A Milli .

MTV News' Jocelyn Vena praised the song positively. Vena said the song was "3 minutes and 25 seconds full of club power in a kitschy and sweet Kesha style". AOL Radio's Nadine Cheung compared Sleazy to Kesha's number one hit We R Who We R and said, "As [the successor] to the incredible first single We R Who We R [...] [Sleazy] is [i] n Keshas again." Performed in true style, she mixes singing with rap and explains the luxury life: "I don't need you or your brand new Benz, or your bourgie friends / I don't need love lookin 'like diamonds / Lookin' like diamonds. "

In Canada, Sleazy debuted at number 46 on the Canadian Hot 100 on November 20, 2010 . That same week, Sleazy debuted at number 51 on the American Billboard Hot 100 .
