Love Me like You Do is a song by British singer Ellie Goulding from the soundtrack of the film Fifty Shades of Gray and was released at the beginning of 2015. The song was written by Max Martin , Savan Kotecha , Ilya , Tove Nilsson and Ali Payami and was released as the second single from the soundtrack in Germany on February 6, 2015. The song was a great success worldwide and reached number one in the singles charts in Australia, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, among others. With six weeks at the top of the German charts, it is the most successful song by a British solo artist since Sandie Shaw in 1967.

Music video

The music video for Love Me like You Do , directed by Georgia Hudson, was first shown to the public on January 22, 2015 and alternates between scenes in which Goulding can be seen singing, dancing, or exploring rooms, and scenes from the film itself.
