Cherrytree Records is an American record label . The label was founded by Martin Kierszenbaum in 2005 and is an allusion to his name Kierszenbaum, which is similar to Kirschbaum , which in turn means "Cherrytree" when translated into English . The label takes on young artists in particular. It is based in Santa Monica .

On June 22, 2012, the separation from Interscope Records was announced. Cherrytree Records was previously a sub-label of this label.

Cherrytree Records also has its own internet radio .
