This list of number one hits is based on the official Norwegian VG-Lista (Top 40 Singles and Albums [up to week 43: Singles Top 20]) in 2015, published by IFPI Norway .

In many countries the trio reached the top 5, but in Scandinavia the three musicians were particularly successful. 13-15 Week 3 weeks (6 in total) 6th Kygo feat. The seventh part now brought him his first number one hit. In 2012, Wiz Khalifa was twice in the top 10 in Norway with song participations. 21-23 Week 3 weeks (6 in total) 6th Kygo feat. Parson James Stole the Show Ashton Parson, Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, Kyle Kelso, Marli Harwood, Michael Harwood - 24.-25. Week 2 weeks 2 Avicii Waiting for Love Simon Aldred, Salem Al Fakir , Tim Bergling , Vincent Pontare , Martin Garrix For the fourth time, the DJ from neighboring Sweden reached number one. 26.-31. Week 6 weeks 6th Morgan Sulele Bare min Magnus Clausen , Jens Hjertø, Jesper Borgen The Norwegian had not yet reached the top 20 with his first single, when he was hired to replace Jess Glynne for a performance in front of 70,000 spectators on Rådhusplassen in Oslo. Jason Boyd , Mason Levy, Justin Bieber The Canadian had already placed 16 singles (two as guest singers) in the Norwegian top 20, ten in the top 10 and three times in second place. Five years after his debut, he was now at the top of the chart for the first time. 41-43 Week 3 weeks 3 Mike Posner I Took a Pill in Ibiza (SeeB Remix) Michael Robert Henrion Posner Five years after his first hit, Cooler Than Me - number 8 in Norway - the second even bigger hit followed. In Norway the song was at the top even before it was released in other countries. 44th – 50th Week 7 weeks 7th Adele Hello Greg Kurstin, Adele Adkins With Chasing Pavements , Adele had her breakthrough in 2008 and was even more successful in Norway than in her home country England. The debut album Kiss Land had not gotten past number 25 two years earlier. 37th week 1 week 1 Iron Maiden The Book of Souls The metal rockers were in the Norwegian charts 23 times in 35 years, and for the second time they reached number one. 38th week 1 week (total 3) 3 The Weeknd Beauty Behind the Madness - 39-40 Week 2 weeks 2 David Gilmour Rattle That Lock For the Pink Floyd front man, it is the second solo album at the top after On an Island in 2006. 41st week 1 week 1 Avicii Stories The debut number one album True had only just fallen off the Norwegian charts after 100 weeks when album number two took the top position. 42nd week 1 week 1 Odd Nordstoga Dette lands For the fourth time in a row and for the fifth time in total, Nordstoga topped the charts in 12 years. 43rd week 1 week 1 vamp Populas For 10 years, every album by the band from Haugesund has reached number one, and for the seventh time in a row they were at the top. 44th week 1 week 1 5 seconds of summer Sounds good, feels good The Australian boy band's debut album the year before had also reached number one. 45th week 1 week (total 3) 3 The Weeknd Beauty Behind the Madness - 46th week 1 week 1 Marcus & Martinus Hey The identical twins won the Norwegian youth competition Melodi Grand Prix Junior in 2012 and released their first album in March 2015.
