Marcus & Martinus live in Amsterdam

Marcus and Martinus Gunnarsen (born February 21, 2002 in Elverum , Norway ) are musicians . The twin brothers live in Trofors in Northern Norway .

Career

On September 1, 2012, Marcus & Martinus won the Melodi Grand Prix Junior music competition with the song To dråper vann . Their 2015 debut album, Hei , stayed in the Norwegian music charts for more than two years . They sang in English for the first time on their second album Together from 2016. There is also a single with Madcon on it . Her second English album, Moments, followed in November 2017 . For this purpose, the musicians recorded songs together with Silento and OMI . In 2018 they were on a European tour with the album Moments . In autumn 2018 they went on another European tour as one of Jason Derulo's supporting acts . In June 2019 the EP Soon was released, which consists of five songs, u. a. also from the single Invited. The music video for Invited was filmed in Chinatown , Los Angeles . The twins have had an international record deal with Universal Music since the beginning of 2020 .
