Danish music charts

Hit lists , track lists are the names of the Danish music charts .

The Danish music charts used by Nielsen Music Control and partly by the Danish Association of the IFPI charged. They are published on the chart's own website hitlisten.nu.

history

1965-1993: IFPI charts

In April 1965 the Danish IFPI Association began to evaluate a 20-unit chart list, the Top 20 Chart , monthly and to publish it in Danish newspapers.

From April 1969 these were drawn up and published on a weekly basis. From May 1973 to December 1978, singles and albums were combined in a chart list at the request of the domestic radio stations in order to be able to offer the chart program more diverse.

1993-2001: Nielsen Music Control & IFPI

In 1993 Nielsen Music Control took over the development and publication of the Danish music charts as AC Nielsen from the Danish IFPI association.

2001–2007: hit lists

At the beginning of 2001, the Danish charts, Singles Top-20 and Download Top 20, were listed under the name Hitlisten .

From 2007: track lists and hit lists

In November 2007, album charts, streaming charts and single charts were created with track lists , which were continued in place of the previous hit list charts.

These charts are also partly evaluated by IFPI Denmark .
